PLGA is polymerized by two monomers, lactic acid and glycolic acid, and different types of PLGA can be prepared at different ratios. They are biodegradable and functional polymer organic compounds, soft and elastic, and have good biocompatibility. They are widely used in surgical suture, anti-adhesion membrane, tissue engineering scaffold and other medical materials. The degree of PLGA degradation varies with monomer ratio. Generally speaking, the greater the proportion of glycolide, the easier it degrades.
